   Our Lake Tahoe Tour takes you into California's gold rush country, where the original '49ers once scavenged and panned for the most coveted metal.

   See historic Donner Lake and Truckee as we crest the infamous Donner Pass.

   Our tour stops lakeside at Lake Tahoe, for a chance to breathe the mountain air and get gorgeous views of the Sierra rising on all sides.

    See the postcard-perfect Emerald Bay, with its scenic tumbling waterfall.

Tour Description:

Our Lake Tahoe Tour leaves from wherever you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, striking out toward California's fertile Central Valley and the capital city of Sacramento.  As we reach the foothills we pass through the infamous gold country, where the gold rush of 1849 brought prosperity and despair to thousands of would-be claimstakers.  Next we pass the small mountain town of Truckee and cross Donner Pass, near where the Donner Party met its doom when winter came early.  The views are frequent and beautiful as we descend toward Lake Tahoe, stopping at Emerald Bay to take in the air, the mountains, and to relax and snap a few pictures.  Next we continue on to North Tahoe or South Tahoe, where you can spend a few hours like the miners of yore -- drinking, gambling, and enjoying everything this mountain oasis has to offer.  Whether you prefer poker or blackjack, rolling the dice at craps, or going for a big win at the slots, Tahoe has it all!  Casinos visited on this tour often include the Hilton, Harrah's, the Peppermill, and Boomtown.  When you've won all the money you can, your fully stocked limo will be waiting to take you back to San Francisco.

• Children & Seniors: $336.60 (10% off!)*
• Start Time: Tour departs every day according to the schedule below.
• End Time: Tour ends at the approximate return times in the schedule below.
• Pickup/Drop-off: Free pickup and drop-off available at any San Francisco hotel or address, usually 20-30 minutes before departure.  For a small additional fee, pickup and drop-off anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area is also available.
• Children and Seniors: Children 2-5 years old free!  Children 5-12 and seniors (over 65) receive a 10% discount from the regular adult price.  Sorry, infants (under 2 years old) are not permitted on our luxury tours.
• Advantages: This tour is for anyone who wants to have a full day of sightseeing and experience a real party tour!
• What to wear: From May-September, dress in light layers.  From October-April, dress very warmly and in layers!
