   Relax along the 17-mile drive, with the dramatic ocean views that made Route 1 and the Big Sur area famous.

Tour Description:

This Carmel and Monterey VIP Tour begins wherever you are in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Once you've been picked up, we head through Silicon Valley, the high-tech capital of the world, until we reach Santa Cruz.  Santa Cruz's beach and boardwalk are famous among tourists and surfers alike, with the easygoing atmosphere of a more simple time in America.  In the equally pretty town of Monterey, we take a break for strolling and shopping along Steinbeck's Cannery Row, much improved since the days of the great author.  Next is Carmel-by-the-Sea, where Clint Eastwood lives and where we can explore a plethora of restaurants, art galleries, and other quaint shops.  From Carmel we can also see Pebble Beach, before taking off on the gorgeous 17-mile drive and heading along the coast to Big Sur country.  Here the mountains drop straight away into the Pacific, for stunning vistas and beautiful roads that seem to wind on forever!  As our Carmel and Monterey VIP Tour makes its way back up to San Francisco and you prepare for your Saturday night in the city, enjoy the comfort of your limo as you watch the sun slowly dip down above the ocean.

  • Adults: $274.00*
  • Children & Seniors: $246.60 (10% off!)*
  • Start Time: Tour departs every day according to the schedule below.
  • End Time: Tour ends at the approximate return times in the schedule below.
  • Pickup/Drop-off: Free pickup and drop-off available at any San Francisco hotel or address, usually 20-30 minutes before departure.  For a small additional fee, pickup and drop-off anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area is also available.
  • Children and Seniors: Children 2-5 years old free!  Children 5-12 and seniors (over 65) receive a 10% discount from the regular adult price.  Sorry, infants (under 2 years old) are not permitted on our luxury tours.
  • Advantages: Whether you're a Bay Area local or a first-time visitor, the beauty of the California coast has never been more enjoyable than on this luxurious and affordable tour!
  • What to wear: From May-September, dress lightly and bring sunblock and comfortable shoes.  A sweatshirt may also be a good idea, in case of coastal fog.  In October-April, dress warmly and in layers!
